The Checklink® helps ensure, by linking one wheel nut to the next, that a loosened wheel nut will not spin off the stud. However, the Checklink® is not a wheel nut locking device. It is a wheel nut restraint should a wheel nut loosen off.
As such, it is for use as an integrated part of a roadworthiness fleet risk management reporting and documenting regime. Distortion of the wheel nut link observed during the inspection of the road wheels within the normal daily roadworthiness walk-round, indicates that a wheel nut has loosened off.
A full range of Checklink® of the commonly-used wheel nut sizes of between 19mm to 38mm across the flats, are available. The standard stock colour for all sizes and variants of the range is Fluoro Yellow.
Checklink® is manufactured from heavy-duty polypropylene and is suitable for use where transient hub or braking temperatures of up to 125°c can be experienced. It is reusable, and impervious to attack from road salts and chemical contaminants, oils and petroleum, and commonly-used vehicle cleaning agents. Being UV stabilised, it is not subject to degradation. It is designed to be a tight, almost interference fit, on the wheel nut.
The use of the Checklink® still requires that the standard retorque inspections need to be adhered to after a wheel or wheel nut has been removed and refitted for whatever reason.

Parcel must be under 30kg and in one box. For large orders that require multiple boxes or palletising may be subject to further carriage charges.

If your item is not in stock, we will back order it for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Our products are usually dispatched between 1 – 2 working days (providing they are in stock and not bespoke items) using a next day delivery service unless otherwise agreed.
Bank Holiday Ordering
Our office and warehouse are closed at the weekend, during bank holidays and Christmas. All orders placed during these periods will be dispatched as soon as the team return to work.
For orders made from the UK, 20% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free. For orders outside of the UK, VAT may be applicable at your local rate. You are responsible for paying any VAT or Duties applicable in the country of destination.
Credit Card Security
When an order is placed on our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128-bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any website.

We believe that you will be delighted with your order but there may be occasions when you feel it necessary to return an item. These terms do not affect your statutory rights. NOTE: We do not offer refunds on bespoke made items or for custom orders that are a non-stock items.
If you are unhappy with the goods in any way, you can return them within 14 days of the delivery date. For a full refund, goods must be returned in their original, unopened condition complete with documentation and manuals. The customer is responsible for the cost of return postage. We do not refund postage and packing. If you have received an item you did not order, or a faulty item, please contact the team by telephone on +44 (0)1476 513801 or email us at email@example.com to inform us of this and we will arrange a refund or a replacement, depending on what you require.
Any goods believed to be faulty by the customer, not fit for purpose or damaged may be returned to The Tyre Equipment Company at the customers cost. This will be refunded/credited once goods have been assessed by The Tyre Equipment Company and proven to be faulty or of inadequate quality. A replacement product will be offered free of charge.
If returned goods are proven by The Tyre Equipment Company or by the manufacturer to not be faulty or are faulty due to negligence on your behalf then carriage/collection costs will not be refunded. A replacement will be offered at your cost.
The Tyre Equipment Company will not be held responsible for items damaged or lost whilst being returned to the company unless a collection was made directly by The Tyre Equipment Company.
